I took this photograph in 2009 on the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross) in the Old City, Jerusalem. In 2010, it was published as the cover photo for Nandino Capovilla and Betta Tusset’s Via crucis in Terra Santa (Rome, Paoline).
